Mixed Media / Experimental
I love combining techniques to create new and exciting results, and learning software which can help me explore new ways to tell stories.
I created this 360 animation for the BFAWU using Skybox (now incorporated into the Adobe Suite).
I like to blend photography, texture and elements of stop motion with 2D vector and hand drawn assets, I feel a collage effect can add depth, be unexpected and achieve interesting results. I have previously also incorporated motion capture and 3D elements into my work.
The animation for CPRE below combines real cut-out elements with photographed texture and vector graphics.
My graduation film, which is a mixed media piece, combines 2D and stop motion animation. I wanted to create characters in 2D that told a story which was then brought to life in stop motion.
